Enrollment Periods
If you are eligible for Medicare Prescription Drug coverage, you can
enroll during any one of the following three enrollment periods:

Those who are under age 65 and have a disability may also be eligible to enroll.
- Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) -
You can enroll in Blue MedicareRx between November 15th and December
31st, which is commonly referred to as the Annual Enrollment Period. If
you are enrolled in another Medicare Part D plan, you may also switch
to Blue MedicareRx during this period.

You may also enroll in Blue MedicareRx outside of the initial or annual
enrollment periods under circumstances such as (but not limited to):

What happens after I enroll?
Within seven (7) business days of receiving your enrollment, we will
send you an acknowledgement letter that identifies your effective date
and important identification numbers. Retain this letter for your
records. Once your effective date arrives, you may provide your
pharmacist with this letter until your ID card arrives in the mail.
All enrollments must be approved by the Centers for Medicare &
Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that administers the
Medicare program. Once CMS approves your enrollment into Blue
MedicareRx, you will receive a second letter from us, confirming your
enrollment. Please note we cannot bill you or send you an
identification card until CMS approves your enrollment.
If CMS rejects your enrollment into Blue MedicareRx, we will advise
you within seven (7) business days of having received notification, and
bill you for any prescriptions you received through us up to that point.
